Why Meal 4DAT exists
Pancake breakfasts, fish fries, and council dinners usually start with a guessed head count. Meal 4DAT lets people commit to an event and reserve meal tickets, so organizers know the real numbers days ahead and buy supplies once, with a buffer, instead of guessing.
The 4DAT way
Every 4DAT app is built on the same few rules. Here is how Meal 4DAT follows them:
- We say plainly where your information goes. Meal 4DAT is a connected app, because organizers need to see who's coming. Your sign-in stays on your iPhone. Your reservations (name, meals, amount, and ticket status) sync through Apple's iCloud so organizers can check you in, and events published on meal4dat.com are stored on 4DAT's Cloudflare servers.
- Browse without an account. Browse events and menus without an account. Reserving meals and organizer tools need Sign in with Apple or Google, and that sign-in is kept on your device.
- We keep only what a feature needs. We store only what events need: published events, ticket orders and check-ins, organizer emails, and early-access requests you send us. We don't sell personal information. See the Privacy Policy.
- No ads and no tracking of you. No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no tracking pixels. The planner and gear guides count visits and link clicks anonymously, with no cookies and no IDs.
- Supported honestly. Meal 4DAT is free to start. Organizers who run more or larger events can subscribe to Meal 4DAT Pro for $2.99 a year through the App Store. The planner and guides link to event supplies on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, MEAL-4DAT earns from qualifying purchases.
About the founder
Meal 4DAT is built by Frank Castle, founder of 4DAT LLC in Florida. Frank is an engineer who has spent his career on systems that have to work when it counts. 4DAT is how he builds everyday tools: simple, private, and yours.
